Reflect > Reflective Artist Statement

Instructional Strategy

  • Providing Recognition

Learning Activity
  • Reflect > Reflective Artist Statement

Create an Album Description “Tweet” right in your public post when you share the album.

  1. Paste a quotation that a historically, significant person said about Interest or Creativity.

  1. Define Interest.
  2. Distinguish any originality or risk taking that you developed for impact.

  1. Describe any materials or techniques you applied with careful craftsmanship.

  1. Identify how you intentionally composed this photograph to evoke Interest.

  1. Synthesize your responses into a concise ‘tweet’ of no more than 140 characters.

  1. Write your full name.

  1. Put them all together like this and copy and paste it into your Album Description.

Example:

"The true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life." - William Morris

Interest sparks your innate curiosity to explore, discover & learn.  Silhouette images have impact because of their high contrast & simplicity.  The Balloon Fest was a fascinating experience I shared with my children. I positioned myself to capture the balloons in silhouette.
- Vincent Kuepper
