Scholastic Art Award Winners from Westosha


It is my honor to inform everyone that artworks submitted by Garrison Asma, Madeleine Asma and Adam Delisi have won Honorable Mention, Silver and Gold Key awards in the 2014 SCHOLASTIC ART AWARDS - WISCONSIN.  The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards has an impressive legacy dating back to 1923. Over the years, the Awards have grown to become the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the U.S, and the nation’s largest source of scholarships for creative young artists and writers. A noteworthy roster of past winners includes Andy Warhol, Sylvia Plath, Truman Capote, Richard Avedon, Robert Redford, Joyce Carol Oates, Stephen King, John Updike, and many more. (

Madeline, Garrison, Adam and their families, along with Mr. Kuepper will be participating in the awards ceremonies, held at the Milwaukee Art Museum, Windhover Hall in Quadracci Pavilion on Saturday, February 8, 2014

Thier winning Silver and Gold Key artwork will be on exhibit at the Milwaukee Art Museum from February 1 through March 16, 2014.  A complete list of winners can be found here > 

Madeleine and Garrison’s Gold Key winning artworks will move from the Milwaukee Art Museum to The 2014 National Scholastic Art Awards June celebration events & ceremony at Carnegie Hall in NYC.  If at National judging their artwork receives a National Gold Medal Award, it will ship to NYC for exhibition there.  

Honorable Mention, Silver and Gold Key are all top State Awards!  This is truly an impressive and memorable event for these outstanding individuals.
